Storm

Did you see the perfect storm? What a storm it was and unfortunately they lost their lives.
A similar storm has hit our family but we have what they did not have, a shelter in the midst of our storm.
David describes it as" the Shelter of the Most High, the shadow of the Almighty."
And " in the day of trouble he will conceal me in his tabernacle and in the secret place he will hide me."
That is what we need is a place to hide and rest our wounded hearts.
Another old song came to me today:
The raging storms around us beat,
we'll never leave our safe retreat
Jesus is a Rock in a weary land,
a shelter in the time of storm.
